Let's wake up! Living as a Christian in These Troubled Times
Last minute addition: this article was written before the government announcements of November 24 and the arrival of the "variant" Omicron. Once again, the objective is to legitimize the imposition of sanctions and obstacles to "protect us" from this variant which according to many doctors is no more dangerous than the previous ones. From there to justify the vaccination against this variant in addition to the lambda covid-19 ? Moderna and Pfizer talk about it.... And Israel announces a fourth dose...
After almost two years of "covid crisis", we now have enough hindsight to see more clearly and to better understand this unprecedented historical period. First, the crisis is nowhere near as serious as what is heard in the media. The "specialists" announced several hundred thousand deaths, even millions of deaths in each country.
It is clear that apart from a few fragile people, almost all infected people recover quickly. The deaths are far from being as numerous as expected, when the official figures are not themselves exaggerated (deaths classified as "covid" while the cause is different)...
The big question that can legitimately be asked is this: was it worth it to confine everything, to block everything, to hide everything..., to abandon patients with other pathologies, children without classes in "face-to-face"... to close churches that, for some, have never reopened?
The answer is obvious and it is enough to study the thinly veiled projects of the world elite to be persuaded (read for example "The great reset" by Klaus Schwab). This elite announces, without hiding it, that it was only waiting for a crisis of this magnitude to set up the New World Order (NWO) and completely redraw the face of the world. In this vast project that the Bible announced, we find a mixture of enslavement of the popular classes, by constraints for health or ecological reasons, a subservience of man to technology and in particular, by advances in the field of transhumanism, the flowering of entertainment so that "peoples" are persuaded of their freedoms and that they are occupied by futile and vain things, as well as the destruction of Judeo-Christianity.
In just two years, the face of the world has completely changed and will continue to change exponentially towards this ideal of "new Babylon". We have to be very naïve to imagine that we will return to the "life before", "to normal", as the media promise. We go straight to this great Babylon announced by the prophets, which is not a project to come but which is already there, and which continues to form before our eyes!
Yet the majority of Christians continue their lives as if nothing has changed. Churches were able to reopen; so, "Thank you Lord, this is all ancient history!" Certainly, there are still "sanitary measures", "barrier gestures" to respect, but we can meet again and this is the main thing for most of our brothers and sisters. It is true that it is a grace that we can come together and meet again but it should alert us!
Not to mention the ongoing political negotiations to combat "separatism" (understand: evangelicals and possibly Muslims). And so many Christians act as if nothing had happened... Let's keep singing, dancing, organizing Christian shows and concerts as before, keep dreaming of a great world awakening (I wish it could happen that way, but the Bible is clear about this and just look at these last months: more than ever the great apostasy is at work!).
For Dr. Carrie Madej, who also does not hide her faith in God, "We are in the 3rd World War and no one sees it... This war is spiritual and opposes good and evil, Truth and lies." Through permanent lies over the past two years, governments have created a veritable state of enslavement of populations. By frequently changing their discourse, saying everything and its opposite, these elites do not do anything, but actually do cognitive dissonance.
The idea is to panic and frustrate the population, who thought they would finally get by after two doses of vaccines (gene therapy, to be exact) for example, or by announcing that a "fifth wave" overwhelms us and that we must absolutely take a "booster" (what a nice name not to say third dose) otherwise people will die! And then it will eventually be necessary to postpone a confinement for the end of the year holidays, otherwise the virus will spread! And then, will come the 6th wave, the 7th..., the 52nd in 2026 ("quickly, let's take our 52nd dose of vaccine to protect ourselves from the X-ray variant of covid 26... »).
Small addition after the government announcements of November 24: when I announced around me that the third dose would become mandatory to keep the pass, I was laughed in the face or looked at me in disbelief. It is high time to wake up and stop this willful blindness. Out of fear, many Christians look away from essential subjects...
While the people panic, the elites advance their great projects without hindrance. Small digression: these elites do not even respect the barrier gestures, shake hands to all winds and organize parties without masks (except for the small staff ...). How many Christians panicked at the thought of catching the disease have not set foot in church again in two years?
How many have jumped on these strange human genetically modifying substances called "vaccines" (this is a first step towards transhumanism) and how many are willing to take the third dose as soon as it is available to them? How many are not ready to choose between their freedom (a fundamental right given by God) and their pleasures, the leisure provided by a very sanitary pass, which does not prevent contagion?
Since Monday, November 22, vaccination of children aged 5 to 11 has begun in Israel (to name but a few). Are they risking something from covid, these children? Are they likely to have side effects of a product in the experimental phase until the end of 2022, or even 2023 for some and whose possible effects in the medium or long term are not known (already that in the short term, it is far from glorious ...)? These generations of children grow up in a terrifying world where human contact is rejected and an unmasked person is a potential murderer.
After two years of enslavement, what lessons can we learn? First, we must please God rather than men. Far too many Christians follow the masses, put on blinders and act obediently according to the good pleasure of this world order in formation. They imagine or persuade themselves that by agreeing to obey these people, they are accelerating the return to the "world before". They are only paving the way for the great Babylon and the Antichrist.
While our Lord Jesus called us and still calls us to carry our cross and follow it, many choose ease and comfort. More than ever, the story of Daniel and his friends is repeating itself. Alone against all, but faithful to their God, these young men chose to swim against the current. When the trumpets stopped and the inhabitants had to bow down in front of the statue, Daniel and his companions did not bend their knees so as not to worship this idol (Daniel chapter 3). They knew very well that death awaited them in case of disobedience to the king's orders. The king himself had warned them of the sentence. Are you like Daniel, Hananya, Michael and Azaria? Or are you like those young men who did not hesitate to adopt the customs of Babylon, to maintain their comfort, even if it meant worshiping pagan idols for it?
Let us not forget that the Word of God has not promised us an easy and untested path. Let us not forget that this generation of the apostles who experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost is also the one who went through one of the greatest periods of persecution in the history of the Church...
I am sharing here a message of which I do not have the name of the original author (I apologize):
1. Matthew:
suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, killed by a sword wound.
2. Marc :
died in Alexandria, Egypt, after being dragged by horses through the streets until he died.
3. Luke:
was hanged in Greece as a result of his intense preaching to the lost.
4. Jean :
suffered the fate of martyrdom, when he was boiled in the huge basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution in Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered from death.
Jean was then sentenced to mines on the prison island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic book of Revelation on Patmos. The apostle John was later released and returned to serve as bishop of Edessa, in modern Turkey. He died of old age. He is the only apostle who died peacefully...
5. Pierre :
was crucified upside down on an x-shaped cross.
According to church tradition, it was because he told his executioners that he felt unworthy to die in the same way as Jesus Christ.
6. James:
the head of the church in Jerusalem was thrown a hundred feet from the top of the southeastern pinnacle of the Temple, when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they found out that he had survived the fall, his enemies beat him to death with a kind of hammer.
7. James the Son of Zebedee:
was a fisherman and fish seller when Jesus called him to a life of ministry. As the powerful head of the church, James was beheaded in Jerusalem. The Roman officer guarding James looked at him, astonished at the way James had defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer walked near James to the place of execution. Converted and convinced, he declared his new faith to the judge and knelt next to James to be beheaded like a Christian.
8. Barthélemy:
also known as Nathaniel, he was a missionary in Asia. He was a witness for our Lord in present-day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia, where he was skinned to death by a whip.
9. Andrew:
was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being severely whipped by seven soldiers, they tied his body to the cross with ropes to prolong his agony. Her disciples reported that when he was led to the cross, Andrew greeted her in these terms: "I have long desired and waited for this happy hour. The cross was consecrated by the body of Christ hanging over it. And he continued to preach to his executioners for two days until he had expired.
10. Thomas :
was stabbed with a spear in India, during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the Subcontinent.
11. Jude :
was killed by arrows, when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.
12. Matthias :
the apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot, was stoned and then beheaded.
13. Paul :
was tortured and then beheaded by the evil emperor Nero in Rome in 67. Paul endured a long prison, which allowed him to write his many Epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the founding doctrines of Christianity, form a large part of the New Testament.
Too often we forget that these great men of God ended their lives in this way, preferring only to remember the grandiose elements of Pentecost and miraculous evangelization.
For now, we are only threatened with depriving ourselves of our leisure time (and possibly, in some cases, of our work). If we already give in in this situation, what will happen when our lives are at stake? If we are asked to deny Jesus in exchange for life? (like so many Christians for centuries, our family ancestors themselves refused to bend the knee and resist the risk of their lives...).
Charles Spurgeon said, "Members of God's people are different from other men. A servant of God is a man of God everywhere. If he works as a pharmacist, it is impossible for him to indulge in the tricks with which such men play with their drugs. He feels that he is not of the world and, as a result, he does not conform to his fashions or standards. It tells the story of a Quaker who was swimming in the river. A boatman hailed him by calling him by the name of his religion. "How do you know I'm a Quaker?" the man replied. "Because you're swimming against the tide, like all Quakers." This is what the Christian should always do; swim against the current. The Lord's people should not go with the rest of men in their love of the world (I add: and comfort). The Christian should visibly manifest a difference in character, so that it can be said that he is a Christian. (Charles Spurgeon, "Water Currents for My Soul").
I hope that this cry of alarm will be heard by all those drowsy faithful. It costs to serve the Lord, but it is in trials that one recognizes his faithful. It is not too late to wake up and buy oil before the bridegroom comes. Already, the waters of the flood are piling up above our heads to judge this ungodly generation. Are we ready to trust God, like Elijah who was fed by the crows?
"Brethren, look as a subject of joy completes the various trials to which you may be exposed, knowing that the trial of your faith produces patience. But patience must do its work perfectly, so that you may be perfect and accomplished, without failing in anything. (James 1:2–4)
"Blessed is the man who patiently endures temptation; for, after being tested, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12)
